Serenity at Pat's is designed for young adults stepping into adulthood — whether transitioning from foster care or navigating the path to independence — who are ready for a Supervised Living Arrangement and committed to building a future of their own.
Young Adults Ready to Step Into Adulthood
Serenity at Pat's serves young adults ages 18–21 who are transitioning from foster care and taking their next steps into adulthood. In some cases, young adults up to age 22 may also be eligible if they have a documented disability. Our home is best suited for individuals who can safely reside in a residential-based setting with supportive supervision and who are committed to working toward greater independence through education, employment, vocational training, or other productive activities.

Appropriate Referrals
Youth Transitioning from Foster Care
Young adults ages 18–21 transitioning out of foster care who are in need of a safe, supportive Supervised Living Arrangement. In some cases, young adults up to age 22 with a documented disability may also be eligible.
Residential-Ready Individuals
Individuals who can safely reside in a residential-based setting with supportive supervision and structured expectations.
Committed to Independence
Youth who are actively working toward greater independence through education, employment, vocational training, or other approved activities.
Referred by Case Managers or Community Partners
Referrals accepted from case managers, social workers, community organizations, and other partners working with youth transitioning out of foster care.

Case Managers & Social Workers
Professionals working directly with young adults transitioning out of foster care who are in need of structured, supervised housing.
Community Organizations & Nonprofits
Community-based organizations, nonprofits, and advocacy groups supporting youth aging out of foster care in Florida.
Other Referral Partners
Any professional or organization working with transitioning youth who believes Serenity at Pat's may be a good fit for a young adult in their care.
Participation Expectations
What We Ask of Residents
Engage in education, employment, vocational training, or other approved activities
Participate in life skills programming and goal planning
Follow house rules and contribute to a respectful home environment
Meet regularly with staff and case managers for accountability check-ins
Communicate openly with program staff and your assigned case manager
Work toward personal independence milestones
